Fitzroy VIC | Full-time | Hands-on support role in a creative workshop
We are on the lookout for a reliable all-rounder to support our Production, Logistics, and Warehouse teams in our Fitzroy-based lighting studio.
As our Workshop & Logistics Assistant, you will play a key role behind the scenes — keeping things moving, organised, and on schedule.
If you are hands-on, proactive, and enjoy variety in your day, this could be the perfect fit.
This is a physical, fast-paced role with a mix of warehouse, logistics and light production tasks.
What you’ll be doing:
- Packing and crating completed lighting projects ready for dispatch
- Preparing shipment paperwork and coordinating outbound logistics
- Receiving and unpacking incoming deliveries
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Keeping the workshop and warehouse tidy and well-organised
- Supporting logistics and warehouse managers with day-to-day admin
- Covering basic duties when team members are away (training provided)
What we’re looking for:
- You’re hands-on and not afraid of hard work
- You take pride in being dependable, organised, and detail-oriented
- You’re comfortable learning simple systems and processes
- You work well with others and can follow instructions
- You’re keen to support a busy team and grow your skills
Highly regarded (but not essential):
- Current forklift licence
- Manual driver’s licence
- Experience in warehousing, logistics or a workshop environment
