We seek an experienced, dynamic Business Development Representative for Australia & New Zealand. 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:  

The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Christopher Boots is key role for all new outbound clients in Australia & New Zealand. The BDR increases the visibility of the brand and product offerings, while increasing quality sales, building and maintaining long term relationships, undertakes planning and actionable strategy for B2B, with an emphasis on qualitative relationships. 

Our BDR is an exciting and dynamic role for a driven individual, ready to start immediately.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 – Accountable for outbound sales of the entire territory.

– Meets and or exceeds sales goals.

– Seek new client relationships with expert knowledge of the interior design business and the project cycle from specification to orders/installation.

– Successfully maintain a full calendar of outside sales presentations.

– Accurate information regarding product options, production capacity, expected lead times, and project progress is provided in real-time.

– Client needs are accurately ascertained and realistic client expectations are exceeded.

– Marketing activity is undertaken including client presentations, coordination of in- house marketing events, and collaboration on brand awareness campaigns.

– Maintains client records.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 – Motivated seller with a strong desire to embody the brand.

– Existent relationships with key decision-makers, as well as a high-level network in Australia’s high-end architecture and interior design industry.

– Demonstrated experience with collaborative design processes.

– Understanding of general trends and collective design consciousness within the architecture and design industry with a focus on lighting.

– Illustrate high Emotional Intelligence: an ability to read people and situations, make necessary adjustments and forge lasting relationships.

– Demonstrated experience in creating sales strategies.

– Proficient in Google Suite.

– Outstanding organisational skills.
