In the wake of Christopher Boots’ celebrated contribution to the Hermès 2014 Vitrine d’Artiste program in New York, comes a similarly captivating installation for Hermès Vancouver celebrating the Flaneur – the art of sauntering and the thoughtful observation of society. November of 2015 saw Christopher Boots’ creations fill three windows of the Vancouver store with a fully formed exhibition of colour, tone, texture and form. Featuring a selection of whimsical offerings, tiny quartz crystal wings adorn airborne loafers and giant Pegasus wings frame a sparkling quartz halo in a masterful meeting of creativity, innovation and technical prowess.
